informed voter

It occurred to me last night that the combination of not having broadcast TV, using my radios solely for NPR, and not reading local newspapers has left me with a relative dearth of people telling me how to vote (and why, though that's generally a secondary message). Which is alright for the things that are (A) covered in the news or (B) are covered well enough in the handy informational packet. But do I vote for the judicial candidate who prioritizes an "Independent judiciary" and "Fairness and Justice" (JD from Hastings) or the candidate that seeks to "Maintain an Honest, Open, and Fair Judiciary" (JD from Hastings)?

Of course gerrymandering made it so some of these races were really already decided in the primary, so maybe I shouldn't worry too much about it.
