I'm going to pretend that I was just making sure that old entries went off the front page, like they're supposed to. I recently got around to doing a bunch of things I've been planning to do for a long time. Like buying a PS3 (for Rock Band and Final Fantasy XIII, I admit), and getting a Netflix account.
I also renewed my KQED membership, so pledge drives will become annoying again. Try it yourself; they turn from a reminder about something you should really do into a purely annoying interruption. Of course, if you're a leech, you probably already find them just an annoying interruption.
I also did one of the more patriotic things I could think of for Independence Day: I donated to the Electronic Frontier Foundation. What more appropriate way to celebrate than to give money to a foundation opposing the negative actions of the government?
Speaking of which, who all is disappointed that Obama voted for the FISA amendment? Kinda cool to see that Tester voted against it.
