eucalyptus path


Eucalyptus Path is a 1,000-foot stairway in excess of 40 percent grade which cuts across the uphill switchback from the 100 to the 600 block of Alvarado Rd.

So on Friday, I attempted that day's Geohash. Here's a map of the location: Google Maps. I actually got pretty close, going down a trail that goes within a couple hundred meters of the location. Unfortunately, I wasn't really dressed for it, and the plant growth off the trail was far too dense to brave. (Even on the trail, my legs were starting to go numb from some stinging.) But the lesson here was that hills suck. A lot. Seriously. I hate hills. Also stairs.
